We regret to inform parishioners that the CAFOD Quiz scheduled to take place on Friday 13 February has been cancelled.

This decision has not been taken lightly. Unfortunately, due to limited volunteer availability, we are unable to organise and run the event to the standard we would want and that parishioners rightly expect.

The CAFOD Quiz has been a valued part of parish life in recent years, continuing the legacy of the Justice and Peace Group, and we are grateful to everyone who has supported it in the past — whether by attending, helping on the night, or supporting CAFOD more widely.

We remain committed to supporting CAFOD and to providing opportunities for parish fundraising and social gatherings. However, events such as this rely entirely on the time and generosity of volunteers, and without sufficient support it is not always possible to proceed.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of parish events and charities. We hope to be able to run similar events again in the future with additional help from the parish community.
