The Social and Events Committee is pleased to report on this year’s Wirral Walk, which took place on Saturday 28th March.

Participants completed the 12-mile route along the Wirral Way from West Kirby to Hooton. We were fortunate to enjoy good weather throughout the day, which helped make the walk an enjoyable and uplifting experience for all involved.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for parishioners to come together in a spirit of fellowship, sharing time, conversation and encouragement along the route.

We were delighted to be joined by Deacon Tony, who accompanied the group for much of the day, and by Fr Godlove, who took part in the first 5km alongside the Headteacher of St Saviour’s and Mollie the dog.

The strong participation in the walk reflects the continued commitment of parishioners to supporting parish life and community activities.

We are pleased to report that a total of £883.42 was raised. These funds will contribute towards supporting the ongoing work of the parish and its activities.

The Social and Events Committee would like to extend sincere thanks to all who took part, and to everyone who supported the event through donations.

We look forward to organising future events and continuing to build on the success of this year’s walk.
