Walking with Mary: Our Lourdes Pilgrimage

This year’s Lourdes pilgrimage marked the beginning of a new three-year spiritual journey, inviting pilgrims to follow Mary through the Annunciation, Visitation and Magnificat. Our parishioners shared reflections on a deeply spiritual and uplifting experience, praising the care of our young pilgrims and encouraging more parishioners to consider joining the pilgrimage in 2027.
Young Pilgrims Say “Yes” to Lourdes

Ten young people from Ellesmere Port Catholic High School travelled to Lourdes for a week of faith, friendship and service, joining pilgrims from across the parish and beyond. An unforgettable experience that brought them closer to God and inspired them to serve again.

Craig shares his moving experience of travelling to Lourdes with his son Ronan, where he found friendship, peace and spiritual renewal. Though he did not receive physical healing, Lourdes helped him find acceptance, strength and a deeper trust in God.

Eucharistic Procession from the Church

Next Sunday, 7th June, we celebrate the Solemnity of The Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ. It is customary to have a public procession with the Blessed Sacrament as a public honouring of Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist.
